Hi
Hows it going?
I had a hell of a lot to drink last week during Sean's visit, more than usual, and I've come to a decision.
I've decided to quit drinking for a while. Partly to save money, partly because when I do get drunk I am a bit of a muppet and partly to try and lose a bit of weight.
I looked in the mirror the other day and I'm a fat bastard.
Why did no one tell me?
You probably did, but I was too busy stuffing my face with a kebab to hear you.
Well no more.
I'm not gonna have another drink till December! I would try and keep it up till the end of the year but when you work in a restaurant at christmas time you NEED a drink after your shift.
I'm also gonna try and do more exercise, I go out for a run every now and then but not regularly, that's something that will change.
I may even invest in the new Wii Fit PLUS!
I've just spent most of the evening at Kev's house for a chinese and to meet Baby G. (not my baby, to read more about her go here)
The meal was great, altho to be honest I found the baby a tad rude, she didn't speak a word to me the whole night. You'd think she would be more excited to meet her namesake!
I was brave enough to hold her for a couple of seconds and she started to cry right away,
I get this reaction from women alot.
Anyway, not wanting to turn up to a friends house for dinner without a drink I took over some irn bru, the nectar of the gods, but throughout the course of the evening, I could feel myself craving a beer.
I think I might be an alcoholic.
Kev was drinking a beer from Argentina and all I could think is,
"Good god, I bet that tastes good!"
Altho Irn bru is an awesome drink, it is clearly not a substitute for beer.
In other news, I've just finished writing another letter as part of my 50 envelope challenge. I'll mail it tomorrow and wait for a reply.
Lately I've been thinking,
that I'm a lazy git!
So I'm gonna stop drinking,
and I'm gonna get fit.
Every day,
I'll go for a run.
I'm sure some way,
I'll make it fun.
I'll start doing much more exercise.
Ill keep you updated,
I won't tell you any lies.
I've given up beer,
because I'm starting to fear,
that its making me fat,
and I can't have that!
So if all goes to plan,
soon I'll be slim.
That's cos I'm the man,
I'll c u at the gym!
Thats all for now
Until Next Time
Have A Nice
Andy G
The beer was good mate. Moderation is the key, not banning yourself from having things. I need to get back running also so if you fancy a running partner, let me know.
